I find tremendous joy in running those groups. You would think that that is, because the zest4life approach works and participants invariably lose weight. Yes, that’s nice, but that’s not the best thing about it. What matters more is that participants regularly get much more than what they bargained for and are amazed.
Generally, zest4life clients join a group or 1:1 Programme in order to lose weight, but when they leave, they are walking away with unexpected bonuses, for example:
- Their joint pain has improved or disappeared.
- They have more energy than before.
- Their skin has improved.
- Their PMS symptoms have gone.
- Their cravings have disappeared.
- Menopausal symptoms are diminished or gone.
- They sleep better.
- Mood swings are a thing of the past.
This is not what they came for, but it’s what they got (plus of course, what they did come for: weight loss).
At zest4life, we do not exclude any food group. We do not use meal replacements, count calories or rely on starvation and willpower. On a zest4life Programme, you will receive up-to-date nutrition education paired with group coaching to help you get unstuck during your transition. I will guide you back to real food and as the results show, real food is all it takes to feel fabulous again.
Is deprivation the price for feeling good again? Not according to my clients. Many find that they are actually eating more and tastier food than they did before – while still losing weight and improving their general health. Yes, it takes a little effort, but not as much as you might think. Eating real food every day is doable and possible in the real world. The right motivation (and coaching) helps implement your new way of life, and what better motivation than feeling great again?
The results show that zest4life is not just for those who are looking to lose weight, but also those who feel below par, experience stress and struggle to cope, suffer with hormonal imbalances, and especially those who have come to believe that niggling health issues are just an unavoidable sign of ageing. They’re not. You can feel great again at any age.
